Choose Ohio First Engaged Scholarship Program in Bioscience and Healthcare
Science and medicine have a long tradition of engaged learning. This state-funded scholarship program is designed to attract and retain the best and the brightest students in the field of bioscience and healthcare across Ohio with a progressive engaged learning program in science entrepreneurship. CWRU will award scholarships in the amount of $4,700 per year to students majoring in Systems Biology, Biomedical Engineering, students enrolled in the Pre-Professional Scholars Program- Medicine, and graduate students in the Science and Technology Entrepreneurship . Biotechnology and Public Health Nutrition Masters Degree programs who are interested in a career in science entrepreneurship in Ohio. Choose Ohio First Scholars will engage in independent research, internships, and entrepreneurial experiences with peers at Cleveland State University, Baldwin-Wallace College, Hiram College, and Cuyahoga Community College. Graduates are expected to help advance economic development in Northeast Ohio and the State.
